Track #1010 The UnSquare

This is a cool track, it is truly out of square,

Check it out,

Well, the Big outside First turn is technically square

But I hope you see the point,

Drive just a little outside and you hit the Apex at the end perfect.

The rest are just Zoomy fast turns but always with a variation.

All of this was done with normal track pieces, the exception is my custom cut 1/16th pieces, which can just be done by overlapping normal 1/8th turns.

Lap times at 17.30, which puts this track at about 95-100 ft. long,

Rant

I wish Hot Wheels would get a clue.

They could market to Slot Drivers with, IMO, good results, Jeez look what I did.

My entire setup, cars, track, banking and misc, was about 700$ US which isn't that much for a Guy My age, I have R/C Airplanes that cost that much, but whatever.

Many think Hot wheels and imagine I'm racing little tiny cars, it can be hard to wrap around peoples heads, even with video, they aren't small cars.

There is so much potential for League Racing etc. I  can't figure out why HW isn't trying dominate a new Toy factor,

Track #1007 Omicron

I Cleaned the track today, All of it, well 120/157 pieces, wow what a mess.

I have done it several times already but today it took about 3 hours and a bunch of work/shop towels and Mr. Clean diluted, but the difference is clear.

The track had become very slippery, and when I started cleaning, you could see the dirt at the track overlap, it was bad.

I went ahead and swept the entire Facility, and built a nice trademark,

UPLAND SPEEDWAY Circuit.

Only 60 or so feet, it's real sweet and Flowing, I started at a 12.94 and after 50 laps and 5 different cars, Gordon got an 11.92, there are no slow sections, and you can go as fast as you dare, Ballsy to say the least,

Track #1006 the Iteration

A bit compact, which is to say short, only 65 ft. or so, But I took some time smoothing it out to get a nice flowing track.

This one is all flat, most good designs don't need banking, though sometimes banks are a Kickass! Not like I don't have 3 or 4 or 14.

As you may see, I changed the section right after the start/finish line, and kept more speed that way.

Current record is 14.52 seconds

 I may change another section later But...

I find my cars spinning out far more than normal, diagnosis, Dirty Track.

I have cleaned all 147 or so pieces several times, but never seen it this bad.

I'll have take it down and clean, which takes about 2 hours, I never thought it would make such a difference, yet it does,

Track #1003

This one is rather simple but again, some turns are deceiving.

It appears that taking the big back turn at High speed is a possibility if your careful, I have knocked off .4 seconds on the turn, right now the record is 13.53, I want to break into the 12's, We shall see.

This is one of the best tracks I have ever done,

Very slick, but a test, so I call it,

Night driving is truly difficult, even knowing the track, it is so dark, the headlights are the only way to see, FUN!

19.93 Lap time, Z has yet to run it, hoping for an 18 ish time
Z ran an 18.44 second time, very nice!
