Bitching about RFX cars again

Here's what I posted at realfxforum.com, verbatim.
I'll probably get banned for saying this  but whatever, Real FX cars SUCK! They are fast, but even when they turn they glitch, fresh batts, fresh controller, doesn't matter they glitch.
Hot Wheels cars are Much better, and handle much better, and are as fast because you can actually make turns like a real car, unlike RFX cars(GLITCH).
On the other hand, RFX makes some great expansion packs which are unavailable elsewhere, and fit Hot wheels track perfectly, so there is that,

I'm pretty much done over there, hopefully more will see me, I don't know how to drive traffic my way, ah well.

I love Hot Wheels but...

They should do more things like this, I got the wrong car today, so I painted what they sent, and ordered Mario Andretti colors to go with my A.J. Foyt car(coming soon). anyway I figured the best way to keep it clean is to rebox it, Hence the photo.
Here's my Foyt Car drying, with Dale Sr. in the Background drying some under body paint, also notice that Dale is Tamiya bright Red and AJ is Tmiya Italian Red, it does count! Tracks Tomorrow, Peace out!

Ultra Plus

Here's a mod of last nights circuit, pretty cool.I also found some starter kits for as low as 34 bucks US and grabbed a few for the chassis mostly, I'm filling out my Stock cars as well as the Open wheel cars, You'll see.
Real FX,  Real disappointing, the cars Glitch all over the place and I'm sick of it. No mods, no bodies, no steering adjustment(must have for these cars) the only thing cool is the track. I really wanted to support them as well as I could but their product sucks IMO, just go with HWAI for cars and add track from RFX, you won't be bummed.

Addons and new video

I am really getting tired of RFX cars glitching on a turn and plowing into my garage even though I try to protect it, it only happens with those cars but still they are viable race machines so I built a permanent guardrail for the Pit/Garage area.
It's heavy duty and ... heavy? it works that's what counts. I put the new Pepsi car out today and am running winning lap times, at least until Zander gets on track, :)
Since I'm Complaining about RFX cars here's some more, the Brand new chassis on white car want's blow off wheels if you push too hard, and while the cars are overall faster, they Glitch reading the track at the worst of times, and your line can be blown through no fault of your own, something you don't get with HWAI cars.

More elevation and new tracks

I built another Hill style track, smoother, cleaner and racier, added some cool new guard rails. I came home from work and tore it down to build the next track, an unelevated variation of the previous one.

!00th post, wow?

Anyway, I built a very large oval, never drove it myself, I was busy with other projects, but Zander drove a 9.14 Lap time so there ya go.
I built some more K rail style barriers, they work well, adjustable and best of all they are cheap posterboard. Add some packing tape and they become very tough. Add some weight on the ends and they stay down or leave em loose.
I finished my last Stock car and it's quite nice, so much so I'll repaint the Yellow Stocker with a suggested scheme, until then, check it out,

Not Quite ( the Longest track in North America) One Result

Only because I haven't received my last input of track, so this may be the longest, but only for a moment in time. If you follow the Blog you know Zander and my views on track design, so here's One Result, according to the track designer, it totals out at 114 ft/34 meters, Wow, even for me.
Actually very fast if you learn the track.

See those Esses? Ignore them and drive straight through for best results.

Start/Finish line

This track took about 2 1/2 hours to layout, with the usual tape joints and odd kinks
But it has a bunch of short chutes to make lots of speed,
Best lap so far,27.66
